Those who are State of Origin fans, we know all of them that Cameron Smith was a good player. And he played many years in Queensland Maroons team. But this year he decided that he will retire from State of Origin. So, we won’t be able to see him in the field as a player. But this is the good news for the Queensland fans that Cameroon Smith is coming to join in Queensland Maroons camp, but he won’t come as a player. The head coach Kevin Walters of Maroons team has told the Channel 9 that Smith “will be coming in over the week” to teach as a guidance Maroons rookie hookers Moses Mbye and Ben Hunt.
“He’s the smartest hooker in the competition, we need to use those smarts,” Walters said.
“Even though he’s not on the field, we’ll be using those smarts throughout the week to get the best advantage for this Queensland team.
“Ben Hunt and Moses (Mbye), they’re very talented players, but I’m sure we could all use some wisdom from Cameron Smith.”
Walter’s has also announced that mysterious ‘player number 21’ come in Origin squad on Monday, later this week his name will reveal. So, if you want to know more information about Cameroon Smith Maroons camp, you can check in here.
